Welcome to SeaDEX March Newsletter! Here you will see the recap of February achievements and a sneak peek at what’s for March. Let’s jump on the boat.

February Recap

From token migration to the launch of SeaDEX Swap, February has marked a successful milestone for the project. Here’s a recap of what has been going on this month!

✅ $IDDX to $SEAX Migration

SeaDEX Migration was smooth and well appreciated by the community. The migration was done manually by $IDDX holders, with around 60% of total holders participating in manual migration with the live feature. Then around a week later, followed by airdrop to the rest of the holders with a 10% deduction for a commission fee and burn. IDDX is dead. SEAX is the only Token used for the SeaDEX platform and all the upcoming features.

✅ SeaDEX Swap Launch

February 15th 2022, remarking the launch of SeaDEX Swap. Though a one day delay happened due to a bug, the launch process occurred smoothly. You can now buy an exchange with a pair of BNB/SEAX easily and very quickly and with low fees too! Try here:https://www.seadex.finance/swap

✅ SeaDEX Project Details

Along with the rebranding of SeaDEX, a few things are crucial to be updated other than the visual representation: token details and roadmap. GitBook has been renewed. If you missed the news, click here.

⏳ Team Expansion

We have been interviewing candidates for the last few weeks to help us with the Southeast Asia Expansion in Q2. There are still many things to do, and more people need to be on board to execute SeaDEX Academy’s, Regional Expansion strategically.

However, this month we have locked a 3/7 SEA professional translator to help us translate the SeaDEX Site and The Swap Feature. Once all the needed language is covered, the change will be seen, and we will update you!

⏳ Integration

The $SEAX token launch on its own native platform SeaDEX has been quite challenging to integrate with aggregators and other integration platforms. This is because we need to list our DEX first before the Token — which can only be done after launching and the address is public. However, DEXTools has finally listed SeaDEX on their platform, and now you can check the price chart here.

CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko. It is still on the waiting list. There is nothing much we can do but wait until it’s updated.

Marketing & Communication

As promised in the previous newsletter, we have been actively updating the community on the progress of SeaDEX weekly. We wish to be as transparent as possible and address as many questions and concerns as possible. As the team grow, we will constantly elevate the communication and be much more active on socials with creative and informational content.

SeaDEX has been published in a few top crypto PR media in Indonesia. Still, the same objective and critical results until the end of Q1 will be on the Indonesia Region. Last month, we are strategizing around SEO through PRs and brand awareness through AMA on Indonesia Crypto Community. More visibility should be seen on March.

What’s in March?

March is the last month of Q1, and there are many things we need to catch up on!

SEA Seven Language Support & Regional Team Expansion

As mentioned in the previous segment, the February recap, we will first make the source available for all Southeast Asians, starting from language. SeaDEX will support seven languages on the main website and project details to keep this. Currently, the team has been working on translation with three professional translators on Burmese, Melayu, and Tagalog.

This month we will elevate the efficiency by working with a talent agency to help find us the perfect candidates to fill roles for a community manager for SEA representation in each country.

Staking Platform&Yield Farm

Aligning with our core belief that a decentralized project needs high transparency, we would like to let the SeaSquad community know that will be a slight delay for the yield farming and staking pool feature.

Even though SeaDEX is a fork of ApeSwap, SeaDEX has pre-mined tokens that we are currently working on to make the feature live for the rewards. Modifying this contract take time as we need to make sure the forked code and the new deployment have no bugs. A few modifications and considerations is needed to execute and launch safely, successfully. Other than a delay in timing, there is no technical worry as the team is already on top of it.

Partnership

Being the first DEX focusing on the specific region, SeaDEX has brought a massive potential for collaboration and partnership in the future. Specifically with the upcoming SeaDEX Academy to bridge non-crypto audience to learn more and adopt the system. Other than influencers map out to support, the roadmap plan to partner with a well-known crypto project in SEA is on track. A discussion for new liquidity pair for SeaDEX is also ongoing. We keep mapping out collaboration and partnership and announce the news in due time.

Any Feedback?

To close the newsletter, we would like to let SeaSquad know that your feedback and suggestions are valuable. We created a simple feedback form for you to contribute to helping SeaDEX grow. If you have any feedback, suggestions, concerns, or proposals, please fill in the form here. All voices are appreciated.

Till next month, SeaSquad!
